No it means that along with the WSOP in Vegas, the WSOPE in Cannes that there will be an Australian leg in 2013.

So three chances to compete for that WSOP bracelet!

Just perfect. A short 50 minute flight from Hobart, Tasmania. We are starting to get some really good tourneys, what with the APT, APPT, and ANZPT along with the Aussie Millions.

I could almost turn pro and never have to leave Australia.

Great news, the Crown is one of the best venues I have ever been to, brilliant for poker and also just to stay at. Got a column on this topic on the site tomorrow afternoon.

Must be nice

I would have to travel about 60 miles to get to the nearest Casino :(

I definitely think this is a step in the right direction by WSOP. The AustralAsia Poker market has been consistently growing over the years.

You guys are definitely spoilt for choice now ;)

Regards,
Gary

It's not really moving.
It's adding another stop, just like the WSOPE, the main WSOP in Vegas I doubt is going anywhere.
