We feeling good to continue, just wondering what the longest sessions are? What kinda records are there?

I think Phil Laaks live session record is something over a hundred hours, isn't it?

Laak's record is 115 hours but he played full ring the whole time. Not nearly as impressive imo as the guy who held it before him Paul Zimbler who played HU for 75 hours straight.

Wow, how was your concentration levels after 50 hours? Must have been a fishy table to stay there for so long?

Twas during new years holidays so lots of tourists and small fishes were flying around _cool:

Suffered from insomnia most of my adult life, finally got paid for it :) Grinded a bit over £12k on a £1-£2 table.

I had about a dozen 72 hours sessions before that (in the last 12 years). So first 70 hours was rather fine. Had a Redbull every 4 hours, B52 shot every 6 hours, salad every 4 hours, cookies and ice coffee every 8 hours. Kinda my secret diet during these runs. _love:

Started my run at 13:00. Took my first break 11:00am the day after when I felt I was losing my A-game. a shower and a 15 minute power nap. Kept that for the next days as well.

Had no problem after 50 hours. Problem started after 80 hours when my brain started to lose sanity and making insane bluffs seemed really reasonable. But doubling up quite a few players it got working again.

I didn't really lose concentration but my playing style got really changed. Kinda avoided reading hands and guessing bluffs or making them the last 24 hours.

Last couple of hours I fell slept like 60 times and dropped my cards. So I had to quit after 108 hours. Original plan was to make it to 120.

Biggest pot was on 4th day. Played my KJ against AA, which made set on the turn and me straight, really nice and won £3k. Not from a fish, but from one the regulars

We both ended up playing around 42 hours straight, played for 72 (I think) of the milestone hands, sadly it didn't go to well for me, I was down quite a bit for the session but my brother was slightly up. We both got dealt into 1 milestone hand but happened on tables we hadn't been so active at. Mine landed on a 25NL Deep table but I only got $120 and my brothers was on a 10NL table and he got $105.

I played 10NL, 16NL and a bit of 25NL, my brother played mostly 10NL and some 16NL, both were 24 tabling full ring.

I played just over 56k hands for the session, not sure how many my brother played but it will be around the same, slightly longer if anything because he played for about 10 minutes longer than me. :)

After a nice sleep, it's time to hit the tables again! Hopefully we can try this again and have a bit more luck. =)

EDIT: We could have gone on for longer, but thought it was -EV to continue playing like that. :(
