Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (5 handed) by Hand Converter CG

Preflop: Hero is SB with K♦, T♦.
UTG folds, MP folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, Button calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 9♠, T♣, A♦ (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 2♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.75 BB) 4♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.75 BB
Main Pot: 5.75 BB, won by Button.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to Button.

Results in white below:
Button has Jd Kc (high card, ace).
Outcome: Button wins 6.75 BB.

Opponent: 27/22, agressive

I really hate this hand. My plan was this, check/call turn for bluff induce, check/fold river unimproved, i thought that he wouldnt bet the river again without an ace. I know, that this is a very ugly situation, but what else could I do here?

How do you know which hand he had?

He showed.

Note him, vs most passive fish at this limit they do this with an ace imo.

Vs unknown at this limit I think you can fold the river.

Ok just saw he was aggressive according to your read. Keep betting turn + river and depending on how aggressive calldown to his turn raise maybe, and obviously raise if you hit a diamond

i would definately bet/call the turn. on this river i think i would play check/call against an aggressive player because many draws busted.

Bet turn for sure, you've got the best T and you need to make valuebets. I'd bet the river aswell.

Bet turn for sure but I even like check/fold river unimproved as he doesn't have a worse hand if he calls us twice.

isn´t check/fold a bit weak ? i mean: he is aggressive and could easily bluff a busted draw on the river... something like KQ, KJ or QJ is possible.
the problem is that we don´t know if he would have called such hands on the turn (KQ, KJ) if op would have bet and i think he maybe would have raised QJ somewhere... but still i can´t get warm with check/fold river :P

That's true too. On the other hand if he is so aggressive why wouldn't he raise with air earlier?

how the hell should i know ? YOU are the professional

Alright so if he is a good aggressive player then he has to assume that the turncard is a bad card to bluff us. We 3-bet also so the ace could be very well in our range. This means that he wouldn't bluff very often.
If I'm correct above then we can check/fold the river unimproven if we get raised on the turn.

well i agree with that (check/fold river if turn is bet/raise/call) but i was talking about what to do on the river if the turn goes bet/call.
and who said that he is a good player ? he is just aggressive... so why shouldn´t he call some kind of stupid straight draw against the odds ?

His stats + aggressive = good? ;)

I just forgot to say that if he just calls that check/call river is fine then.

QT or JT would call bets? Not a lot but still a few.
