Total pot: $8.47 | Rake: $0.35

Standard fishy looking villain I have about 3 hands on him so won't mention stats.

I'm trying to categorise my more sizeable pots as

A) Bad Play / Luckbox (if I win)

B) Good Play / badbeat or suckout (presuming I lose)

I'm not sure on this one, so should I put this hand in the bad play, or good play category?

Hello DaPhunk,

Preflop: 3bet for value vs the min-raise than Call it.

As played
Flop: How many hands do you see in his range CBetting on the flop into multiway pot and you beat? If you assume to beat his range then rather get it in on the flop and protect your hand, no point to Check/Call and then see some ugly card on the turn/river. Doubt that you are planning to Check/Fold on the turn anymore vs his stack left.

As played
River: If to Bet then just ship it. If you Bet smaller then rather do it as block-bet/Fold. Or would you assume him hero-calling with Ace high vs your Bet? JJ most likely calls also the shove.

Best Regards.
