Hi,
some time ago suddenly the sound during coaching sessions started to get very laggy. When it comes to my hardware/internet nothing has changed. Also reinstalling windows (running xp with latest updates) did not fix the issue. I am using the most recent Firefox but switching to internet explorer also does not help. Turning of internet connection using software (torrents, Skype, antivirus, firewall) no help. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know about your issue!
I'm not sure as to why this would happen, especially after reformatting your machine.
Did you try using Google Chrome for the coaching player?
Is the audio itself distorted or only delayed?

All coaching sessions are laggy, without exceptions.
Haven't tried chrome, as I prefer firefox, but if the problem persists...
The audio is distorted, basically missing parts of the words/sentences but not delayed.
If the problem persists, you should explore alternative methods of viewing the coaching - I love Firefox too but completely stopped using it simply because it gets far too slow with over 25 tabs, one does what one has to do 
Try it with Chrome and let me know how it sounds - perhaps a browser plugin is not up to date in Firefox
If Chrome doesn't work, it would seem to me to be a connection issue.
Overall, no changes have been made to the way the coaching player operates, additionally, the issue is not a global issue for all users and is then most likely local to yourself.

New information suggests that changing the volume in the coaching player can cause this issue sometimes, in which case a re-start of the coaching player is required.
It gets laggy right from the start, so volume changing is not the case. I suspect this has something to do with flash player and some hardware driver issue (based on the fact that sometimes online videos/flash commercials crashes PC). So waiting for some new driver release that might solve it.
I have same problem like biogas. Chrome doesn't work to, and also I have latest version of Flash Player.
Interestingly, in today's session users claimed that chenny lagged and I didn't(dual coaching). I heard chenny more-or-less clearly with only minor flaws, BUT we were connected via skype.
I'm not sure of the reasons, just wanted to provide information.
edit: could this possibly be a bandwidth problem on the coach side? doesn't seem likely, but I can't really explain why he lagged and I didnt
