The hand sample is too small to make any conclusions from stats here. Though, I did refer to them preflop when making 3bet for value. On turn, I didn't quite put villain on set, otherwise it would have been bad call preflop by villain. Didn't quite put him on AA, especially KK. Thought that maybe he is overplaying KQ, KJ, KT?, maybe even TT-QQ?

As played on turn or b/f?

Hello faronel,

Well done with 500 posts. :f_cool:

If you are 3betting for value preflop then there is no other option than going broke postflop. :) But what you should rather be asking if there is any point in 3betting first place and if you can do it for value, might be better to just Call and play postflop.

Best Regards.

Hi faronel and Veriz,

Just a quick one. If there had been more CC's preflop of UTG's preflop raise. Would you prefer a 3b/fold so as not to see a MWP, OOP, without the initative?

Yep, while being OOP and multiway I'd rather 3bet/Fold vs UTG.

So against 1 person it would be better to c/c, against many it's better 3bet/fold preflop.

Why doesn't AK play good in a multiway pot anyways? If we get top pair, it's too hard to fold, or what? ?(

Cause people tend to start overplaying a TPTK hand. Especially in multiway pot it's more likely that the pot is bigger and they feel committed. AKs is still possible to play while it also has FD in it.
