Ok, so this might look like a weird line by me so let me explain. I'm pretty sure that the pre-flop call is ok and now we see the flop. At first glance it looks like I've totally whiffed but I know that there are a ton of cards that can come on the turn that can improve me. Any broadway card, a club may be good, a 9, a 10 etc.. Is my call on the flop a mistake bearing this in mind? I know he pots it and he's showing such strength that he looks committed either way. I'm pretty sure he's got a set.
The turn comes and it does improve me. So now he bets big and basically commits me. Is my raise and stack off a mistake and, in general, have I played this hand wrong? I haven't posted this to show how advanced and a super-pro Level 12 thinker I am, I'm genuinely wondering whether this is a losing play over time or not albeit slightly high variance. Let me know what you think.
Thanks
