I'd been taking down a lot of pots from this guy recently that we've been battling for (and he's been folding so he didn't know what I had for sure). I thought he might be getting out of line. Stacks too deep to make a play though?

Anyway, I find it very hard to see what you are representing on the turn. Basicly you are trying to say you have 63xx, and the only 63 that comes to my mind is AA63. And you would pretty likely cbet that? If you represent A3xx, then again the only A3xx hand is AA3x. And you would cbet that too, right?

Of course you might have a wrap, 6543 but you would definitely cbet that on flop.

If the opponent is a thinking player, he understands that your turn bet is almost always a bluff. When he raises, he definitely has some equity. I don't think he is ever raising with total air when he pots it. To shove the turn, you need 40% equity. Against random 9xxx hand you are 29%. Against As*** with flushdraw you are 13%. Even against Axxx you are just 31%. And when he pots it to you, I don't think he is ever folding. So your raise is totally -EV. Even if he folds some of the time, the range that he is calling with is crushing you so bad that it is definitely -EV.
