Flop: ($14,00) T♣, 8♣, 8♠ (3 players)
SB bets $10,00, MP2 folds, Hero calls $10,00.

Turn: ($34,00) K♣ (1 players)
SB bets $27,00, Hero raises to $20,50 (All-In).

River: ($81,50) 9♠

Final Pot: $81,50

Was this played right though a raise pf of MP2?

Why are u not a full stack? you don't actually have the odds to set mine.

You can't play this on set value if you are that short. You have to invest 4 to win ~36 - thats 9:1. The odds of hitting your set are 7.5:1. However, even if you hit your set a) you have to get stack him which will not happen 100% of the time and b) you may loose the hand to better hands. Hence, if you don't have set value, just fold preflop.


Calling pf and shoving on good boards or if you hit your set, then calling is perfectly fine with 88 imo.

TT+ is easy 3-bet/call shove or if called then calling/shoving at most flops ;)

yeah agreed. but i'm just saying 88-99 i don't think has enough intrinsic value to make a play like what you suggested.
