I'm from Cesis, but I live in student apartment in Riga.
Studying masters in electrotechnology, so not bad
Playing at WPT poker but don't like it that much. will see how it goes, maybe I will stay, maybe leave to another site.

Ooh, our countryside is near Cesis, somewhere in the woods outside Amata, so we go there sometimes, nice town for visiting over the day, not sure about if I'd want to live there though, I'm used to larger cities..

Will you be moving back after the term ends or stay in Riga?

Why don't you like WPT poker then? I always found it nice and fishy when I played at PartyPoker.

I don't like party network that much b/c the client is kinda "interesting" for table selecting. not always you get the table you selected ♦
and shortstackers everywhere.
there's always fishes, and also 2/3 - 4/5 of playerpool is kinda regulars, playing 4+ tables so it's interesting.
and sometimes buttons disappear on the table for ~1sec.
I think I need more time to get used to this software, or forget what pokerstars client feels like ♦
and i pay 6.5bb/100 in rake

yesterday played ~800hands and was bit tilted b/c left mouse button doesn't work, so I had to push with M1 with laptops touchpad, but at the end got used to it.

Were you 4 or 6 tabling at the time?

Didn't consider taking a break to cool off while you were tilting and realized it?

1st session I was 4tabling and played ~300 hands, then brake and later played 6tables. I prefer playing many small (~1h) sessions.
And tilt wasn't because I played bad, it was just mouse problems where it worked sometimes and others didn't.
Downloaded TableNinja, so that I don't have to plush mouse buttons. Don't have proper equipment to fix the button until next weekend.

I'm setting myself a starting challenge - 10k hands a week, starting next week. It's not much, but 4tabling is ~300-350hand/h, so it's ~30h of playing. And then the week after that - a bit more hands and so on.

Been reading one poker book which I red more than year ago. And it's different. I think it's because when I am reading it, I can relate to different spots and say "yes, that's me, that weak player"

One thing I found is - I need good BRM to comfortably play a certain limit. But I think this is normal.

I have another challenge in mind, but that will be for next week. To be honest, I don't like to play just because certain number of hands has to be met. Maybe it's better. If I want to make money in poker, I have to be better then rest of the table, not just grinding for rakeback.

30BI is ok, just when I tried NL50, I didn't have that much. + I never took a shot at FTP, I just played till I had 30+BI and moved up.
