So lets start a cashgame project at the micro limit NL2
I think I will use this blog mostly to post some of the interesting hands i've played.

And I'll give you guys who are interested every week a progress update!
I really like to read your opinion. And ofcourse I hope it will help me to improve my poker game.

Hi there Wicky!

Welcome to our blogging section!

So, Cashgame on NL2, what site will you be starting one? What kind of bankroll management will you use for moving up?

Will you also be posting hands in the hand evaluation forums for our professional hand judges to take a look at?

Tell us a bit more about yourself, too?

Looking forward to your updates already!

Regards,
Richard

What a pokernight I had yesterday..
With nine other players I played a sick 5 euro rebuy homegame. Starting stack 5k, 2 hours unlimited rebuys allowed and after two hours one 5 euro add on for 50k. Blinds went up every 20minutes.

The first two hours ended up in a real donkfest with 71 rebuys :P
And unfortunately I got knocked out later when there were 6 players left, in a all in situation with my toppair top kicker vs. the other ones straight flush draw on the flop, the river completed his straight.

We continued later on that night with a cashgame Nl20.
Everyone started with 50bb. At 7am it was finished, Only two players leftover at the table and me having over 200 euro in profit NICE :]

Now back to the nl2 cashgames online..... See you at the poker table!

Thank you Rastweet and Fruktpuff for your replies!

At pokerroom 770, I started two weeks ago. Short handed NL2.
I think its going okay but making the beginner mistakes sometimes.
For example, i think someone is making a play or you know.. not wanting to fold your pocket jacks vs. fish who bets into you post flop.. I'll post that hand later, I think I played that hand horrible.

But I feel more confident with my game allready.
I use the tool sidekicks now, nice to save the stats and to get rewarded sometimes

1 week ahead and I just played my 5k milestone hand on poker770 nl2 sh
My BR is now 24,67 dollar. It went a bit up and down..
But overall I cant complain. I feel if I just play my game and avoid tillting after a really bad suckout or bad call where I know Im beat, I will move on soon to the next limit.

Ciao :]

I started with 1 or 2 tables.
I am trying to do more now, 3-4 tbls. And I buy-in for 2dollar.
I think per day I play 2 sometimes 3 sessions of 45min. - 1hour.

Do you recommend the 2 dollar buy-in (100bb) or should I just start with the max. 5 dollar?

Hi, how are you?
Can I ask a few questions?

but making the beginner mistakes sometimes.

How do you know? _rolleyes:

I am trying to do more now, 3-4 tables.

Can I ask why?

Do you recommend the 2 dollar buy-in (100bb)?

I do recommend max buy in which usually is 100bb.

Hey Gigenieks
No problem to ask stuff..
I think I do make them, not wanting to give up a hand and check calling too much the river. But still learning and finding out my leaks :) with the help of this forum, articles and videos I watch.

Do you play nl2 yourself? How many tables you play?
1 tbl is kinda boring and you'll have alot of decision time. 3-4tbl is allright for me and I will still play the sameway. Playing more hands, the chance to build your br faster.

The max. buy-in is 5 dollar thats 250bblinds in total. I could start with 5 to get max value vs. the other players but till now I decide to start with 100bb.

not wanting to give up a hand

I time to time do something similar.

Do you play NL2 yourself?
How many tables you play?

For now, yes. But I will move up to NL4 6-max in coming days.

As it's only NL2 - I'm playing 2 tables. Barely manage them - so much things to learn / focus on (HUD, what type of opponent you face, check your own notes in notebook etc etc)

But on NL10 I will play 1 table as long as I constantly win at it. No hurry from there.

Playing more hands, the chance to build your br faster.

The reverse aplies too - you can also destroy your BR faster. _biggrin:

Hey wicky!

I would suggest you always buy-in for the max you can. Usually that is 100bb, so on a nl2 table that is $2. If you say that the max is $5 do you mean you are playing nl5 or maybe deep stacked tables? If it are deep stacked tables I suggest to just play regular tables.

And to get rid of those beginners mistakes I advice you to start with the No Limit Beginners Course if you haven't started with it yet.

best of luck on the tables!

Ras is right. Always should buy in for at least 100 BB or more. What ever the max you can afford is.

To add on to learning, i'd suggest giving this book a read. Dan Harrington on online cash games. Love that book.

Weird! I don't have 770 on my laptop, but its weird you can't find regular tables.

I would just buy-in for 100bb then. Unless you see everyone is deeper. You don't want to be the short stack on the table. They'll be messing around with you and you'll be losing money.

Best of luck on the tables!

omg... so today i thought lets buy-in for the max. and ofcourse 2 times in a row I loose with AA vs another pocketpair all in preflop and I moved all in with AK, KK and JJ vs AA and lost. NICE _mad: dropped down 20 dollar.
But fine I know it can happen and you need a bit of luck too.

Won 10 dollar back later today and reaching to 8k hand in of June. Personal record
