PokerStars - $0.25 NL ZOOM - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $31.46
SB: $30.60
BB: $25.00
UTG: $26.05
UTG+1: $2.10
UTG+2: $18.29
MP: $25.70
Hero (MP+1): $25.00
CO: $52.68

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has J♣ Q♣

UTG raises to $0.75, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.75, fold, BTN calls $0.75, fold, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($3.10, 4 players) A♣ 9♦ 8♣
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $1.99, fold, BB raises to $3.98, fold, Hero calls $1.99
i think i'd tend to go broke vs a normal raise but as he just minraised i figured i'd just take the odds

Turn: ($11.06, 2 players) 4♣
BB checks, Hero bets $5.55, BB calls $5.55
he tanked a lot to check, i thought he was scared
i bet this amount because i figured i could shove river for under pot. still i think some higher amount was in order to make river shove even easier, also some protection vs board pairing :P

River: ($22.16, 2 players) 2♥
BB checks, timebank slowroll, Hero bets $14.72 and is all-in, BB calls $14.72 and is all-in
not much to comment

Spoiler

Hero shows J♣ Q♣ (Flush, Ace High) (Pre 44%, Flop 42%, Turn 91%)
BB shows 8♠ A♠ (Two Pair, Aces and Eights) (Pre 56%, Flop 58%, Turn 9%)
Hero wins $49.60

Hello Tomaloc,

Doubt that there is much to do here, I'd play the same way. Although I wouldn't time-bank there cause your time-bank just proves that you are slowplaying. At least that's what I would think of you.

Best Regards.

Hey,

Is qjss a call pre flop in full ring vs UTG?

Depends a lot how loose the opponents behind us are, if hero save there enough of bad players who could join into the pot then I wouldn't mind.

Without it depends what's hero's plan postflop cause UTG range is pretty strong and we might not have much fold equity and might not even have enough of experience where to fight back. So true, might be better to fold without someone joining the pot.

yeah i didn't mention it but there seemed to be some loose-bad players behind.
plan was mostly to hit some draw as it happened
