BTN/SB: t1660 41.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t60) Hero is BB with 3 :diamond: 3
BTN/SB calls t20, Hero checks

Flop: (t80) A :spade: 7 :club: T :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB checks

Turn: (t80) J  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB checks

River: (t80) Q :spade: (2 players)

I have no idea how to play small pocket pairs when deep hence why I just checked it down. I have a feeling I should have raised pre however.

It depends on his postflop tendencies. If he'll fold to a lot of cbets, raising is better, but if he's stationy, I like your play.

However, I'd lead this flop and expect to get folds a lot. 50 or 60 chips is good. Rarely is someone limping an ace, and it scares a lot of villains.

But checking it down is also OK, I guess.

you can atack limps with that hand if he:

1 limp folds a lot

or

2 folds to cbet a lot

or

3 is really passive post flop so you get to a free showdown when not improving
