it's certainly an option, but I don't know if it'll have much higher EV than a fold...if he's check/minraised before, then sure, push

Vs. a LAG, I'd often check behind the flop for pot control and bluff induce. You have showdown value, but if you bet and get c/r, its very hard to continue...

Ok, you check behind. How to continue on the turn, when he bets?
1. blank on turn
2. Q/K on turn
3. diamond on turn

bet/push seems better here i think. hell, he could even call you with worse hands!

and tribun's right about scary turns..! almost any turn brings an undesirable card for us.

so if you want to gambool, bet behind, otherwise check it IMO

Don´t see much value shoving
He would call with J and better, maybe flushdraw, but probably not.
He would definetely fold small pp-s and 9.
How often do you think it is bluff?
Even 28/23 player would bet/fold most of his hands pf and a lot c/f ui on the flop.
Without history I would just let it go, if I think he is bluffy, then I would call flop, shove most of the turns.

it really depends on what level you think he is : is it he knows that you know that he knows he has absolutely no credit here given history or deeper or not even that deep.

if he's really good he could be getting fancy and be check/raising top pair/overpair for value to induce a shove but I doubt it, he most probably is some kind of wanna-win-every-pot-tard and he has a (possibly huge) draw and I would shove it in

is he good enough to think he can you fold most of your range on that flop by check/raising ?

anyway for metagame's purposes I would shove to tame him down ♦ and get owned and get a great image at your table or just completely tear him to pieces.

1-3: Call. I checked a bad looking flop so it looks like "he has air, so lets bluff him". I think he'll bet a lot of weaker hands. Of course, he may outdraw us some times, however, he may also bluff c/r if we bet the flop and get us to fold the better hand which is the bigger mistake.

yeah, turn is pretty easy
after you've shown weakness to a LAG player, you can't really fold to a turn bet
