Ladies and Gentlemen.... I present to you....
STEP UP 2: THE SEQUEL
For those who don't know my previous blog you can check it out here
The goal of this blog is exactly the same as the previous - to ship a WSOP Main Event ticket ($13k) by playing the Steps SnGs at PokerStars.com
This time, however, I will being doing this correctly. The seed capital I'm planning to invest is $1,200! Over the course of the next few months I intend to play 160 Step 1 games. Once I have all these games completed, I will then move on to Step 2. This will continue all the way up (as far as I can get - hopefully ending with me being $11,800 richer)
To be a little more prepared than last time out I will post the step by step payout information. I will be playing the 9 man Steps (Turbo) SNGs. The only different game will be the last Step where there is no turbo available.

Ok, so now thats out of the way, I guess I should include some goals for this project
[ ] Play 160 Step 1 games
[ ] Ship a minimum of 70 Step 2 games once I've completed all Step 1s and consequent retries and 4th place finishes
[ ] Finish Step 1s by my birthday - End of September
[ ] Finish the Steps Challenge by end of the year
[ ] Ship the $13k at least once!
Today is June 10th 2012 a few days shy of the midpoint of the year so no better time to start this challenge!
Here's my favourite song ever to set the mood
LET'S DO THIS!
Wish me luck!
Gary
