In game, when we have less time to think, I'd probably play it the same way as u did. Looking at the hand though, I'm beginning to think that jamming river might be a good idea. U are losing to T9, which is an unlikely holding and a flush. Say he had a flush draw on the flop, he would most likely bet it. If he's passive, he might check/call it though. Assuming he got there on the turn, he would have to be extremely passive not to check/rasie it. When he bets 1/3 the pot on the river after you've shown 2 streets of strength, it looks way too much like a blocking bet.

Hi all,

I'd jam the river as well vs this betsize. It looks like a blockbet and while he very often folds after blockbetting, sometimes we can get a worse hand to call it off. I don't see many combinations of T9 calling turn.

I'd 3bet preflop against a 17/10 btw. If it's a reg we can call preflop.
