I would suggest using midstack strategy as a navigation point of what hands to open when SH. Just remove the EP positions and start from MP. I checked the hands that were suggested in the article and tbh, they are a bit too loose for my taste. It depends on table and your postflop skills, but I wouldn't necessary open KQo from first position in a 6max game or KJo f.e. I actually think I will mostly fold these ones. Also opening any pair from any position is usually good and I like it, but if you are a beginner, you can easily fold 22-66, maybe even 77 from first position in a 6max game. When eff. stack sizes decreases our range will also change.
