SB: $1.13 (56.5 bb)
BB: $2.99 (149.5 bb)
Hero (UTG+2): $2.30 (115 bb)
MP1: $1.91 (95.5 bb)
MP2: $5.05 (252.5 bb)
MP3: $0.98 (49 bb)
CO: $1.90 (95 bb)
BTN: $8.39 (419.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K K
Hero raises to $0.08, 5 folds, SB calls $0.07, BB folds
Standard raise.

Flop: ($0.18) 8 4 3 (2 players)
SB bets $0.09, Hero calls $0.09
Felt like I was ahead here, and I felt pretty far ahead, but should I have raised here?

Turn: ($0.36) J (2 players)
SB bets $0.18, Hero calls $0.18
Again his small bet made me think I was ahead.

River: ($0.72) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.54, SB calls $0.54
How was the bet here? I wanted some value, and I felt a pot size bet might not make him call.

Hi,

if you feel you´re ahead you should generally raise flop and likely get all-in against 56bb stack. Never good idea to give aways free cards that would cost your stack and if he is bet/calling with worse hands then I think raising for value is also good play.

I think both raise/calling or just calling turn are fine and I would call him down on any river card. Since he checks, betitng 2/3 pot is fine- I think you can even make it 3/4 pot, since he would either c/c or gives up his hand

best regards,
