Any advice for me, iv just started to play some SnGs, some turbo, some regular 10 mans......I pretty much suck haha....

Played a set of 7 yesterday & didn't cash any lol. Is this pretty standard? I cashed a few day before, but its hard to know if I am pushing well. Obviously there are a few spots where I know I made a mistake but my EV line looks OK.

I have played ~200k cash hands at 2c & 4c NL so need to adjust a bit, & enjoy a different format that sngs gives me.

Also any advice on posting hands? I could not get elephant to work & dont want to mess with postSQL because iv had probs w HEM2. Any help on how to post spots up with hand histories from HEM2?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, sileekhunt!

Welcome to our SnG discussion forum!

As for your quesstions- SnGs, as every other poker format, come with a variance and we need a decent sample to draw any conclusions. Even 1k games is not enough. Maybe you are just in a bad streak, but it's way too early to give up. Questioning yourself is good though as it will lead you to improvement usually. Post hands, watch videos, we have some really valuable video/strategy materials in here, so go ahead and take advantage of them.

As for posting hands in the SnG hand evaluation forums- once again, it's a must for every player that wants to improve his game imo. I am not sure how it is in HEM2 as I am using the previous version, but I usually click and save hand histories, than copy/pasty it in a site like handconverter.com. You can also click on hand replayer-hand history-2+2 and ctrl V - it in the forum.

Cheers!

Hi, sileekhunt!

Glad to see the converter works- posting with stats is even better! Will save you a lot of time and it's helpful for the other users or handjudges in their analysis.

This is, however, where we post the hands: Click

I will evaluate them here this time, but, please, make sure to post them in the right forum next time. Also, please, hide results. They can cause confusion for the analysis and lost of interest to the hand.

Cheers!

First hand-Very, very standard shove. I will be probably pushing any pair from this spot w 5-6 bb.

Second hand- I think there is something wrong with the HH-BB is utg in reality? I fold AQ pretty easily there as we face a raise and a committing re-raise which indicates huge strength. We are also 5-handed, so ICM tax is bigger.
