He didn't bet the Turn so he's not likely to have something. A pair he would have bet and i think that if he wanted to semibluff he would have done it on the turn. That means that once he didn't barrel the turn with a draw he won't do neither on the River and it's likely that he would have bet his draws but checks looks more like a non pair but though showdownable hand like Kx or A2 A5 etc. First of all you missed a bet on the Turn. He could call with almost any2 on this flop and 8 brought some redraws in you have to protect against and take off value from Kx and Ax he's paying 2 another bets with.
After you missed a turnbet you should at least bet the River!
