I don't like drawing to straights on the turn when the board has 3 to a flush or is paired, unless we get a really good price. That's just me though.

The fact that this time you did hit a straight is completely and utterly irrelevant.

On the flop you have an OESD but due to the Flush Draw you only have 6 clean outs. The chance to a straight on the turn is around 1:8 and the pot odds you were given are 1:2. So your call on the flop is a MAJOR leak. Only call for a SD when you have the correct pot odds, which will almost never happen if there is also a FD on the table.

Hi,

I think floating ip should be fine. Don´t think you´re that bad shape with overcards and oesd. I would also fold on the turn- even if your straight is good then there are only 6 cards that improve your hand without making 4-flush board and you can be easily drawing dead

best regards,

Hello ramadas,

Fold the flop cause you don't get the implied odds and of course you may even be against a FD as well which means exclude outs. We also have opponents behind us who could easily just raise and we would donating the money into the pot.

Best Regards.
