[Closed] NL10 Should I push?

Ok, first off, I know I'm not supposed to be raising a bet on the flop with pocket 9s but the villain was multi-tabling, same as me, and I'd been on his left at another table for about 40 minutes and had seen him play pretty loose and make Cbets where I pretty much knew he had nothing. He eventually went broke at the other table.

So I was fairly sure this was just another standard Cbet with nothing from him. My question is, seeing as I was raising, did I raise enough or should I have just pushed all-in?

Hero (MP1): $3.05 (30.5 bb)
MP2: $5.55 (55.5 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is MP1 with 9
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 5 folds, BB calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.85) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $0.60, Hero raises to $1.20, BB folds

Also, I was waiting for the blinds to come back round to me before leaving the table ;-)

Normal raise size is 3x Villain's raise.
In this case that would be 3x $0.60 = $1.80, so you can better go all-in because that's a big part of your stack.

So if you have a good read on him here, you can push if you want.
As you said yourself it's not standard SSS, so I cannot advise it, but apparently your read was good ;)

What surprises me is that he donks the flop, then folds after a minraise..

Thanks for the reply.

Don't know if you did well. You only have mediocre flush draw, he can easily have a better one (since he donkbeted). But assuming your reads, it may have been a good decision.
