So I won 10.17 usd and paid 9.82 rake....

4.74 bb/100 is with rake? But rake is over 10bb/100 so I would be under 0....

4.74/100 is with rake, your earnings. Rakeback is additional earnings

JFC...forget about how much rake you have payed, your bb/100 win rate is your profit. You could pay 10bb/rake and still have a positive winrate of Xbb/100

Kinda does, all are high but some are lower than others, and some give flat rakeback vs vip schemes that are bad for micro players.

It really doesn't! There are a few reasons for this such as:

1) Pokerstars has lower rake than say 888 poker, but 888 poker is softer than stars so this evens the higher or lower rake out to some extent.

2) A micro's players concern should not be on how high or low rake is, it should be on improving. The impact of rake isn't really anything important until midstakes as the $values involved before then are small thus in significant. Also when you reach mid stakes games start getting tough so every way to lower expense will help your top and bottom lines.

So if i was playing NL2 or NL5 and on "site A" i could score a win rate of say 6BB/100 but on "site B" i could score 8BB/100 (because of difference in rake), it wouldn't bother me which site i was on because the bottom line is i'm moving up after 20k hands anyway so i'm not playing at the limit long enough to feel/see the difference. Plus the money i might miss out on in this 20k hands isn't going to change my life in anyway.

In B&M they host you a place to play poker at, which usually looks quite luxurious so naturally you get to pay for that luxury as well, +live dealers etc and the overall experience seems much more worth the price than clicking buttons online.
