Limping or Raise?

here's a hand that was very hard to play for me.

i made a call20 from the button with pocket 9.

The flop showed a flush-draw possibility so i decided to call the flop raise.
On the turn i counted his 0.36 bet not too high and aggressive, so i thought he was trying to protect his hand with this raise and not make the pot bigger, so i called.

When i saw a 9 on the river i went all-in hoping that he will call (counting that i'm bluffing)

On the showdown he showed his pocket KK.

Please evaluate if what i did was right decision

BTW, i just made a small evaluation in the equilab and it showed me these numbers on the flop:
Equity Win Tie
CO 34.04% 34.04% 0.00% KdKs
BU 65.96% 65.96% 0.00% 9h9c

Does that mean that i should have raised on the flop as well and defended my own hand?
AFTER MY OWN EVALUATION I CAME TO CONCLUSION THAT I SHOULD HAVE RAISEd ON THE FLOP 100% TO DEFEND MY OWN HAND. SO I WAS LUCKY TO WIN THIS HAND

Hello igika07,

Yes, we should raise the flop and protect our hand than Call like that. There are a lot of worse hands from we need to protect!

Best Regards.
