Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has A♣ A♠ 3♣ 4♦

Hero raises to $0.85, MP calls $0.85, fold, BTN calls $0.85, fold, fold

Flop: ($2.90, 3 players) 8♣ 6♥ 6♠
Hero bets $1.38, MP calls $1.38, BTN calls $1.38

Turn: ($7.04, 3 players) K♣
Hero checks, MP bets $2.00, BTN calls $2.00, Hero calls $2.00

River: ($13.04, 3 players) 9♣
Hero bets $4.25, MP raises to $8.97 and is all-in, BTN raises to $12.14 and is all-in, Hero calls $7.89

I don't want to bet and get raised on this turn, as I would have to fold, so I choose to c/c. This river is nice for me, I didn't want it to get checked behind so I donked... but once 2 people get it in, I'm just never ahead here. I rationalized that they could have worse flushes, but imo someone here always has a boat.

Once you bet this flop and get called in 2 spots I am pretty much done with the hand. You're out of position and you will have no clue on the river whether or not you are ahead or behind so the last thing you want to be doing is betting the turn.

Turn bet screams of quads/ eights full and while you probably have to call in case it's just a horrible minbet from a fish, you still have to check/fold the river to a big bet.
