Kinda sucks, as when you call the turn he puts you on a flush pretty often. He propably thinks that if you had a set, you would have raised the flop. You have the 2nd nut flush, but you also block the 3rd nut flush. So unless he has nutflush, the next possible flush is 9-high. And I don't think he is ever betting that to a pairing river.

So the spot isn't a great one, it all depends on your reads is he capable of betting 9-high or lower flush for half a pot?

On this river MP has to bet a naked ace of diamonds even though the board is paired and this would be my biggest thought of what he had. It would be a sick value bet with ace high as most at this limit check it back when the board pairs.

He could show up with something like 23 + small flush which would suck but I think calling is okay this time against a maniac.
