BTN: $7.79 (77.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A 6 T J

Flop: ($1.60) 8 T T (4 players)

UTG was loose aggressive preflop (58/25/22 24 hands) and loose passive postflop
CO was a donkey playing (28/13/2.0)

I c/r a semi wet flop because I wanted to let villain make his cbet. On a blanc turn I ch/ca because I didn’t improve my hand and by checking behind he probably didn't improve his hand either . On the river it’s an easy b/c because a straight flush is the only hand that beats me.

Should I have called a raise preflop with this suited ace hand + 2 broadways?

Should I have donked instead of c/r on the flop?

Thanks

preflop is close, the 6 doesn't really do much for your hand and it's hard to get value from flushes OOP. I'd probably muck it.

i think you can donk flop here, wouldn't be nice to check behind and turn came a 9, J, 7....

Flop donk full pot is okay. Checking is also okay but when you checkraise full pot on the flop you absolutely have to bet full pot on the turn as well rather than checking. Commit yourself right here rather than getting reverse freerolled which is what you do by checking (if villain has the best hand he bets the turn and you call, if you have the best hand villain checks the turn therefore the only outcome is good for villain when you check the turn.)
