It's of course up to you...

I can move your thread to the Rail section if you want though, which is a subforum of the Staking forum at the moment.

https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/board.php?boardid=1609

Let me know where you want it.

Kind regards,
Richard

I don't mind having it here. It's Tyler's decision if he wants you to move it. I only want him to run hot and cash big!

I am done with today :( Ran pretty bad. I didn't use a double rebuy for event 04 so I guess that's kind of a winning lol.

Tomorrow will go more smoothly

To update a bit, it's add-on time and I got my stack up to average stack. I was really card dead for the most part (even though I'm playing 19/14 in 57 hands). I couldn't hit, etc.

But I finally hit against a huge bluffer! He shuves when someone checks to him (has done it a couple times alread) so this "checking game" was a good move haha :)

Im out with no money...

This guy sat down at the table 3 hands before this so he's unknown. I bet 2 streets because I get villain to fold so many times. I got unlucky though.

Why do you raise JTs from UTG?

You can't bet 2 streets here though, you have to bet 3.. and since it's a tourney it looks like a bad idea. Especially in a $3 buy-in MTT where nobody folds. On the flop and turn he'll definitely peel any mid pair.

Post the KQ hand as well please.

Villain was pretty aggressive/liked to barrel/makes bets to put you under pressure

I think that the call on the flop is standard seeing that opponent is aggro
On the turn, I don't bet because I want to pot control a bit and didn't want to face a raise (maybe that's not the best idea because of draws?)
On the river is a perfect spot for opponent to put pressure like he likes to do so I call

OMG, you guys with your pot control. Turn is a slam dunk bet! :f_biggrin:

He bets any hand he wants to be aggro with, he will try to pot control himself a hand like 89, 78, QT, QJ, TT, etc. Bet turn, check back bad rivers, maybe valuebet good ones.

Still no cash, but I'm really improving. I was doing good in other tourneys. In a side $1.10 tournament, I was top 5 chip leader for most of the tournament. I screwed up though and ran into an aggro player on my left which cut down my stack a lot and I eventually finished something like 27/1500 :(

Here's a hand I posted to be evaluated
AK vs unknown

Keep in mind that I had a pretty tight image on this table. I would never get chances to open raise and when I did, I would pick up blinds most of the time because I'm "so tight".

villain is 21/5 passive player
