Seems fine to me, we can bet turn to get him to call with draws and fold hands like 99-JJ but pot is so small I think just checking and trying to get to showdown is fine. People are checking bad decent hands a lot more on flops these days so think we played the hand perfectly.

I think in general most players will bet the flop with their draws, but he could have picked up some kind of straight draw or even 3rd pair which would be the pros about betting, but even then it is very marginal, so think c/f is fine.
