Having a really bad day today, down almost $100 and about to lock my account.
I haven't ever seen so much donkey play in my life. I was sitting at a specific table which seemed very very profitable as they were just raising and calling every single hand. I finally get AA with $39 left in my stack and just go all in preflop, knowing at least one of the donkeys would call me. THEY ALL CALLED ME! all 5 of them! the hand that won: j5 off! and my coin flips are all against me today aswel. The amount of times ive had QQ and get into a race with AK and lose, oh my word.
Oh well.
I guess I need to learn the discipline of walking away.

I dont know why u guys think that if your strategies are followed that a person cant have a bad downswing. I do follow bankroll managenent, but even losing 5% of ur bankroll fucking sucks
variance is and always will be a part of poker.
however if you dont' follow the strategies, you will likely be playing losing poker (not always!). which isn't variance or a downswing, it's just... playing losing poker.

you're really funny guy indeed ![]()
2 days ago I finally reached $2000 so I moved up to new limit...
After loosing 78% SDs (I really won only 22%
) I moved back to get some confidence back...
Last night I finished with $1600...
Falling down by 20% in less than 40 hours fucking sucks ♦
If you can't get over 5% (if you really followed BRM..), then cash-out immediately to live happy and long life
I can feel bad when I lose less than 1% of my BR, while I can also feel good when I lose 10%. It just depends on how you lose it.
