[Closed] NL 100: flopped a set

As far as the hand goes, I think you should raise the turn for value then you could probably shove the river.

i would raise turn too here

Here, he is either 2 barreling with trash/weak made hand
or valuebetting his K
His range is far behind
so i prefer to call turn and try to get so more value from his K

I'd raise the flop. Either he has a K that he's not giving up to a single raise, or he's c-betting with air and will give up on the turn (since this is a bad board to fire 2 barrels).

i'd raise turn to let you get it in on the river for 1PSB.

I'd raise flop because he often can have a combination of hands with gutshot/OPED such as AJ,AQ,QJ or he often flop a pair of K. If the T had been a 7-9 I just call flop and raise turn.

I call river as played.

Raise turn. I like calling the flop on this board as you often get another bet on the turn. However, on the turn we want to raise to be able to get it in on the river without having to overbet.

but calling the flop and raising the turn shows so much strength... you would never do it with weaker hands than a flopped set or turned 2 pair, so you'll have way too much fold equity. A raise on KTx will rarely be respected as a flopped set (of x's), so you'll have a big pot much more often

actually i'd do it with weaker made hands on drawheavy boards to increase my sklansky bucks :).

how is KT64r draw-heavy? Of course I'm not talking about situations like TPTK or low 2 pair on a 2-suited, 2-connected turn

it's not the exact same board, but i'm just saying that this line to the less observant players is one that i still sometimes take.

also, float and bluffraise turn, which i do very rarely as well.

So it's best when u think ur opponent has nothing and hes aggressive to c/c flop c/r turn so you at least have 2 bluff bets out of his crap hand? And when u think he has a piece c/r flop, b/r turn?

What you guys think about b/c the flop b/r the turn. I normally do this when I flop a set on a A high board since he maybe raises when he has an A.

it's ok. but most aces play for pot control there, and just call you. i prefer c/r, c/c because it also wins their continuation bet when they really do have air.

But when u c/r flop they will most likely check behind on the turn with even an ace. So we miss value there.
