70 hands 16 / 10 3.3% 3-bet.
Not my hand. I know he should bet larger, flop and turn but I'm really curious about river. I think I'd still make a half pot bet, he might call worse and check-folding seems a little bit weak.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Hello BadeaCelRau,

Correct, you should be betting it bigger. :P But river is kinda towards to Bet/Fold it to get value from weaker hands or if we assume he is capable of having draws there in his range then Check/Call. But to avoid huge bet I'd rather Bet/Fold myself.

Best Regards.

Exactly my thought about bet/fold because check-call is too dangerous but do you think we could just check-fold?

Assuming we facing a multiway pot on the flop then yep, we could do that but at the same time he has also FDs in his range there. To avoid such a decision we should be betting ourselves.

I can't really see many hands we get value from with a bet tbh. I think he has a lot of boats in his range.

Block-bet idea isn't always to get value, it's to avoid him betting big vs us with some missed draws/Jx hands or whatsoever which will be difficult to Call.

It's quite obvious that he wont have many FDs in his range there unless he is super bad, so which means Check/Call wouldn't make in vacuum much sense. At the same time to avoid the spot that he turns some hands into bluff we block-bet ourselves.

But we also have the straight so it would be kinda bad if we allow him to check behind trips. I know people do call me on 4 card straight boards all the time so I'd miss some value. I guess it's a little dependent on the hero's image.
