hello guys,

here is a sample from the tournament I played today...

Situation..
Late stage of the tournament (20 players left).
I had smalest stack of them all at that moment.
The big blind was protecting his blind regularly.

Was I to agressive in my position?

Full Tilt Poker, NL Hold'em Tournament, $2 + $0.25 Tournament, 120/240 Blinds, 25 Ante, 5 Players

BB: 12,022
UTG: 7,795
CO: 5,690
BTN: 7,094
Hero (SB): 4,323

Pre-Flop: (485) K :spade: J :spade: dealt to Hero (SB)
3 folds, Hero calls 120, BB raises to 845, Hero raises to 4,298 and is All-In, BB calls 3,453

Flop: (8,721) 9 :club: 6 :diamond: 7 :diamond: (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Turn: (8,721) A :diamond: (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: (8,721) K :diamond: (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: 8,721 Pot (8,721 Rake)
BB showed (a flush, Ace high) and LOST (-4,323 NET)
Hero showed K J and LOST (-4,323 NET)

Again, my intention was to push him because I was sure he was protecting the blind again...

I dont think I would try this with KJ its too marginal a hand to shove here and he will call you too often. You dont have too much money invested here so let it go. There is a time to take a stand but I dont think this is it... wait for a better hand here. He could have almost anything and you aren't really a huge favorite against any part of his range.
