Heads up, pushing harder?

Hi,

i'm currently thinking about my last hand which i played in a 1,20$ buy-in SnG. I'm not very experienced in playing heads up:

well, i'm got into that heads up as a short stack so i needed chips very soon. what would've been the right way to play? all-in immediately?

all-in preflop. it's nothing to do with HU imo, it's just optimal styles of play when stack:blind ratio gets below 10:1.

thanks. yeah you're right. missed that, as blinds went up recently.

what to do when having 5000 chips then?

Still a push imo, only 12.5 BB deep. If we push loose with many hands anyway, villain calls us looser, which is what we want when holding 88.
