i need to work out how many cash games hands i need to play (on average) to get pocket red kings (kd kh)
so is this 2/52 multiplyed by 1/51
if so how many hands does this on average work out that you would have to play before you get the hand
there is a reason for me asking lol but i dont want to promote a poker room that pstrat does not have deals on
in texas hold'em there are 1326 whole card combinations you can get, and there is only 1 combination of red kings so it's 1/1326 or 0.075% chance you're gonna get KhKh on a dealt hand.
The math behind it if you're interested is 52!/2!(52-50)! = 52!/2!50!= 51x52/2 = 1326.

this only means you should get on KdKh on average once every 1326 hands, however you may not get them even in 10k hands or may get them 5 times in 1326.
Indeed. I'm pretty sure the math is, if something happens 1 time in X, if you repeat the event X times, you have a 75% chance of getting it at least once. So you have a 93.75% chance of getting the hand 1+ times in 2,652 hands, and a 75% chance of getting the hand 1+ times in 1,326.
