PokerStars - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BB: $2.50
UTG: $2.21
UTG+1: $6.01
MP: $3.78
MP+1: $2.61
LP: $3.40
CO: $3.01
BTN: $2.11
Hero (SB): $2.31

Hero posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero has K♠ A♣

UTG calls $0.02, fold, MP calls $0.02, MP+1 raises to $0.10, fold, CO calls $0.10, fold, Hero raises to $0.50, fold, UTG raises to $2.21 and is all-in, fold, fold, fold, fold

UTG wins $1.24

Self explanatory situation I think. Against a tight opponent here it's an easy fold for me. But could I have played this any differently? Or is it just standard? For example, because MP1 and CO were pretty loose and passive, could I have considered just calling to see a flop, despite being out of position? Or is this just very standard?

Also, what about my raise size? Is that any good, or should I have raised even more?

Hello TinoLaan,

You should be still 3betting a bit less, I'd do it 40 cents and then fold vs the UTG line. Especially vs the limp/raise which is quite obviously going to be a trap.

Best Regards.
