Hello!

I'm not completelly sure what to do there on the turn.. I have a feeling that I should bet/go broke there, but at that moment I was convinced he had a flush or a straight. And yes, I should raise the flop bigger..

I think you need to bet at least 3/4 pot on turn for protection against any draws he may have, 9♦ or 5♦ give him a straight flush draw, and with the deep stacks he'd certainly call the raise on the flop with these.

He could of had either of those cards in his hand with pocket pairs, also i think any made straight on that board is going to shove over your raise on the flop for protection.

If your raising for value and protection on the flop, you still need both of those on the turn, as nothing has really changed, unless he had QQ.

Interested to see what the judge says :)

No reason to check behind on turn, but go ahead and bet it if you face a large raise you`re dead... on the river there`s not much else to do but check behind(the board now being really ugly)

Hello Alleen86,

Raise pot size on the flop, Bet the turn and so on. :P Don't really see any reason to Check behind there and allow him to get a free card.

Best Regards.
