I would check/call the river. Villain can have a lot of busted draws on the river here and we don't win money by betting. If villain also has an 8 then all the money is going in irrespective of whether you bet or not. I don't think he pays you off with KK or QQ though he is a fish so maybe you miss a bet here by checking.

But I think you win more by checking this river and hoping the fish bluffs, unless of course he is completely passive as well.

Either way there is no way you can get off the hand on the river, and you can only fold the turn if you bet and get raised (which you didn't).
