Turn: ($23.30, 2 players) J♠
Hero bets $1.00, ...

villain is 58/17, definitely the type to have a lot of Tx in his range.
what do you think about this exploitable turnbet? my plan was to look scared (which i actually am) so that his Tx would raise small (as fish like to do with nuts)

if he doesn't have Tx then it's a sick thin valuebet.

does that make any sense? i guess it doesn't :f_biggrin:

Spoiler

Turn: ($23.30, 2 players) J♠
Hero bets $1.00, BTN raises to $5.00, Hero calls $4.00

River: ($33.30, 2 players) 9♣
Hero bets $1.00, BTN raises to $5.00, Hero raises to $38.08 and is all-in, BTN calls $21.89 and is all-in

Hero shows 8♣ 8♥ (Full House, Eights full of Nines) (Pre 51%, Flop 83%, Turn 20%)
BTN shows K♠ T♠ (Straight, King High) (Pre 49%, Flop 17%, Turn 80%)
Hero wins $84.58

Hello Tomaloc,

I'd instead just Check there, such a fishy guy most likely wont Bet it that much anyways and rather try to trap you. If I am block-betting then at least doing is such a sizing which he wouldn't raise.

Otherwise shove the river? :) Why would you make such a play, I don't really get it at all.

Best Regards.

well, otr if he has a hand he's going to bet (raise) anyway, if he doesn't he isn't going to pay. was pretty sure that he had it so not sure if it makes a huge difference.

Well, how do you know? :) You can never know what those loose guys think there, why would he want to raise where it's also paired board and not a lot worse hands pay him.
