My predictions for the first round are below. What do you think will happen?

Arsenal V Sunderland - Arsenal
West Ham V Aston Villa - Aston Villa (with second chance bet on the draw)
QPR V Swansea - QPR
Reading V Stoke - Reading (with second chance bet on the draw)
Fulham V Norwich - Fulham
Newcastle V Tottenham - Tottenham (with second chance bet on the draw)
Man City - Southhampton - Man City
Everton V Man U - Everton (with second chance bet on the draw)
Chelsea V Reading - Chelsea

This might be my favorite thread :))

All games except the last one are over, it will be a quite interesting year and seems like City are going to win again :( My team ( United ) suck big time although RVP is there, I think the old man SAF is going crazy and into dementia not letting RVP playing from the start...

Chelsea look great and Newcastle are ready to show something interesting since last season was great for them. Cisse and Ba ROCK!!!

Liverpool... Oh Liverpool ... Never bet your money on them I would say

Arsenal look terrible without RVP, but who knows, Wenger might think of something ( like signing Messi's baby LOL :) )

Tottenham will have a disastrous year IMO, Andre Villas-Boas is just not fit for the English football.

Hoping Swansea will be in the top 8 and may be next year top 6.

Bet your money on Chelsea for the last game vs Reading, I might put a penny or two as well :)

yeah may have got that one a tad wrong. But go the mighty blues. I knew we could beat Man U. Could be evertons season to make the champions league. And Brisbane roar look primed for a third championship in a row and a real assult on the Asian champions league.

My wife and I have a baby arriving in 7 days so going to have lots of lates nights watching football with the new arrival. _love:

sumamry of the predictions so far:

West Brom V Liverpool - Draw = wrong

Arsenal V Sunderland - Arsenal = wrong

West Ham V Aston Villa - Aston Villa (with second chance bet on the draw) = wrong

QPR V Swansea - QPR = wrong (this could get quiet expensive)

Reading V Stoke - Reading (with second chance bet on the draw) wrong but won on second chance.

Newcastle V Tottenham - Tottenham (with second chance bet on the draw) = wrong

Man City - Southhampton - Man City = only just right

Brisbane won't be getting anywhere without Postecogleu - this will be Sydney's year. I feel it coming.
