CO: $11.21 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 16, 3B: 5, AF: 3,0, Hands: 111
BTN: $6.38 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 13, 3B: 0, AF: 2,8, Hands: 97
SB: $19.74 - VPIP: 46, PFR: 28, PFRfromSB: 12(17),CbetFlop: 14(7), 3B: 5, AF: 1,2, WTS: 19, Hands: 109
Hero (BB): $11.86 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 19, 3B: 5, AF: 4,6, Hands: 55868
UTG: $18.04 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 16, 3B: 8, AF: 2,2, Hands: 70
MP: $10.00 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 12, 3B: 7, AF: 6,0, Hands: 68

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with A :club: 9 :diamond:
4 folds, SB raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.60) 2 :club: Q :club: J :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.43, SB calls $0.43

Turn: ($1.46) 8 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($1.46) 7 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

The preflop decision already can be somewhat marginal. Although his PFR looks a bit high, so far he has not really raised that much from SB, as opposed to other positions.
And, please, tell me if this is correct: I once again am drawing too many conclusions from stats only, especially not taking into account the fact that the sample size = basically too small. I also should have watched the table and should have seen how he is playing once he checks the flop since he is cBetting so rarely.

That said, about postflop: even though I have an overcard + backdoor nut FD, since villain quite likely checks some made hands on the flop as well and since the board hits his range very well, I probably should have just given up.

Hello Avatars91,

Preflop: Why not just 3bet instead here? And take the pot down right here.

As played
Postflop: Doesn't make sense to Bet the flop, one of the worst flops to take stabs on whilst he will rarely make any better hands to fold. :)

Best Regards.

Am I not getting too often called by better Ax hands?

Well, I don't really know that cause I don't have his fold to 3bet stat.

If we knew that he calls a lot of 3Bets OOP, is a call preflop at least doable? Or is it a borderline case?

Yes, calling is better and still doable but then again I would rather advice to do that vs a guy who also steals a bit more not just 12%. :) Cause vs that range our hand isn't super-strong.
