Q1: What is your motivation for playing poker?
I have always loved playing poker of some kind. I remember my dad teaching me when I was 6 years old. I remember playing with friends for peanuts or potato chips when I was 9. But it has always just been a hobby that I have given very little time to.
I have recently began playing more, and taking it more seriously. In doing so, I have found an entirely different way to enjoy the same game.
Q2: What are your weaknesses when playing poker?
In the past I have had issues with overvaluing speculative hands, and not folding top pair, etc. I have been working on that, and am doing ok with it. I still struggle a bit with focusing too much on the short run, allowing it to sometimes put me on tilt.
Q3: What does it mean to play tight aggressive?
Playing a tight range of premium hands only, and raising/reraising to make sure that you control the action, and are able to get value out of your winning hands.
