Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is MP2 with Q♦ Q♠

I figured he would call a bet on the river and I have no prior stats on him since it was still in the early stages of the tournament.

Any suggestions?

Hello maythany,

Preflop:

Too small raise for this limits. Raise to 100-120 chips is OK.

Flop:

There is no need to c-bet. On this dry board with A high. I prefer checking behind. If villain is very aggressive and he is going to bet turn and river if you check here, than it is OK to c-bet.

Turn:

As played, good check for pot control. Often villain got an A after he called on the flop. If he have a 10 he will bet river rarely .So if he bet on the river most of the time he got ace or better. Of course some time he got some gutter with which he was calling from the flop.

River:

After villain checked we can make a thin value bet to get some value from 10, 6 or some pockets. Bet to 170-180 chips is enough.

Best regards,
Antoan
