discussion guess hero's starting capital 500 dolars. he is a pro grinder. he wasting his time average 5 hours a day. he may play turbo and regular mtts or cash games. he plays in simultaniously 4 table. which is more profitable for him? (ignore bankruptcy)... waiting answers who have statisticly info.

if 4 table is the max, than cash game by far
if no table limit, mtt can be better than cash game depending your skill. mtt grinders usually play 20-24 tables
actually my nick is tarasonur on pokerstars i had good itm and roi in mtts. but i can be a good player in cash too. which is more profitable. i played half million hand in 2 months. i can grind in 24 tables. a pro poker player will stack me. but in long tearm which is better carrier for profit. MTT is harder than cash game. If you can truely play MTTs good, MTT profit is better by far. Sounds easy eh? I'll point out some aspects:
1. MTTs variance is insane. 500 BI downswings = standard (180+ field). Can you handle this?
2. MTTs requires the most skill IMO, you need to know how to play FR/SH/HU game at different stacksizes.
3. You can run 3-6 months without being deep in a MTT due variance.
The rewards for able to handle/master these are obviously the huge amount of weak MTT players and fishes who don't know how MTT works.

You gotta be honest with yourself, if you never reached/tried NL50 on cash game chances you going to suck at MTTs because your're going to be clueless postflop/endgame.
Cash game also has the lowest variance. I'd recommend play cash games up to nl25/50'ish first, and you can easily expand to:
5 cash game table
1 mtt table
etc till you find your game
For example I like playing 1 HU table with 6-8 MTTs

actually i play cash games in deep stack for training but my stacker (who stacks me), says to me "stay away from cash games". now we just focusing mtts for my bankroll. he is a pro player and giving this just supporting me for i make bankroll. he thinks i will be a good grinder.

yeah cash games are good to learn. im staying away from them as well due high rake.
why dont u start off with 18/45 man sng?

but im watching the international these few days
i play in a small site for bankroll mtts have max 50-60 players so variety is low ♦ and we have %40 rakeback. but there is not much player and site isnot good for long tearm. there is no high amount of tournaments. and big buy in tournaments...
