Preflop: Hero is SB with Q K
4 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1

Flop: ($3) K 8 T (2 players)
Hero bets $2.25, BB calls $2.25

Turn: ($7.50) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5.50, BB calls $5.50

River: ($18.50) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, BB folds

Results:

Spoiler

$18.50 pot ($0.92 rake)
Final Board: K 8 T 7 5
Hero mucked Q K and won $17.58 ($8.33 net)
BB mucked and lost (-$9.25 net)

I made this bet so that I can get some value from his marginally value hands which would check back but also with the intention to induce some bluffs from his missed draws/ weak made hands.

What do you think about it?

Hello DeMarcohsp,

Rather Check/Call the river whilst there are still enough of worse hands which missed, nor of course you would rather know what to do if he raises whilst he could do that vs your weak block-bet.

Best Regards.
