Hello Imimba1,

Vs such a min-bet seems to be fine. We still need to protect our hand. Nice hand!

What's your plan if the guy 3bets you pot size?

Best Regards.

Against a decent player easy fold, no implied odds: all my outs make the straight obvious, and I have reverse implied odds against flushes.

Against this fish, tough question. I'm not sure he goes broke with a set/2pair when I hit, so it's safer to fold imo.

Doesn't really matter against which player you are here. :) Both are easy fold I'd say, you wont see worse hands, more often traps.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 39.318% 38.02% 01.30% 15057 513.00 { QhTc }
Hand 1: 60.682% 59.39% 01.30% 23517 513.00 { 99, J9s+, T9s, 87s, J9o+, T9o, 87o } Basically 2 pair, 78, and 99. I'd expect him to raise with KQ, TT, JJ preflop.

My equity is quite good against a 3bet, but the problem is, that we totally lack implied odds, right? Any Q or K would shut down the money flow (against a decent player!)

Couldnt we call against loose-fish in position?

You know yourself that you have weakness in freeplay pots, it should answer you the question. :P Freeplay pots hands are usually very strong and it will be 1card straight. ;) Few tips, now make your assumptions and post it here and I can say if it's correct. :P

You are right Veriz, even though I have decent equity against him: if I hit, i won't get paid off. If I don't get hit, I will NEVER get a free card. So it's -EV to call, it's better to fold. :)

BtW Veriz, over 10k hand sample size I managed to beat 1/2c for 10,54bb/100h, thanks to your help. I'm going to keep improving, and once I reach 125$, 2/5c is coming :f_biggrin:

Wow, that's nice progress. :) I hope you keep going, though don't be sad if the bb/100 goes down cause it very likely will. When the sample gets bigger the winrate will also get into correct amount but so far you have been doing very good. :)
