i have seen villain call 3bets with AK JJ QQ out of position so i think hes 4bets are polarized towards bluffs would it have been better to just call hes 4bet an try and trap him.

Hello mkjmkjmkj,

Both options are fine, especially if we assume him 4betting light. :) If he at least hits then he is more likely to willing to pay + we have the position.
