unknown reg. what can be his turn range?
i actually considered folding for a moment... 44/JJ/AJ/1 AA combo (?)

i guess it actually depends on how many AJo we give him and if he can be delay-spazzing with a draw (is that fashionable these days?), these draws would mostly be K:s Q:s-K:s T:s i suppose
in the end i called without much thought because it's HJvSB, and well, i have a set

If you truly think he only has value hands, it becomes a fold. I don't think he has AJo.

Equity Win Tie
MP2 80.30% 80.30% 0.00% JJ, 44, AhAc, AJs
MP3 19.70% 19.70% 0.00% 22

These days people know how to semi bluff raise Turn or even turn made hands into bluffs. You can't fold bottom set IMO. Our hand is too strong to fold, but shipping doesn't accomplish anything. I call the Turn and probably call most rivers besides spades. I'm wondering if we should bluff spades if it's checked to us though...

Hello Tomaloc,

Way too difficult to fold vs unknown there who could easily even have AJ combos and not only AJs but wouldn't exclude AJo either. Though we would exclude some of those combos from his range as some JJ combos and AJo combos. Assuming that the guy may easily even Check/Raise the turn with something as K:sQ:s as well will be difficult to fold. I'd also go broke on the turn and protect my hand, whatever he has there or is Check/Raising is very often going to call you down as well, even if he has a FD -> which usually will be a combodraw.

Don't see the guy bluffing the turn that much so calling wouldn't really make sense whilst we could only see bad cards and sometimes on a flush-card on the river the guy might not even pay to us with something as AJ.

Best Regards.
