Hey. I'm betting flop for protection from overcards and my plan is to bet most turns. But 7 is no scarecard, so I'm checking. But the problem here how to react on river? My hand is too weak and there aren't that many missed draws + no idea, if SB is even capable of bluffing, so I should be folding here? Thanks

Yes this is a common problem if we check back the Turn: the Guessing game :)
Mostly I will call and assess him so I can make adjusted notes on him but I prefer active play over passive play so:

I would mostly bet again on the Turn so I can contemplate turning my hand into a bluff on the River or just check back. It makes life easier for me as I will bet like 40cents max on the Turn

Best regards,
Gerv
