I got a lot of doubts about this hand... I considered that it was not worth it do a 5-bet because it probably would have left me commited, so I decided to do a cold call due the fact I'm playing with position. I got no stats from the villian.

Do you think was the right way to play it?

Hey flexifronto!

What reads do you have?
I don't like your 3bet sizing! I would make a value3bet also to play villain alone for about 1,6-1,8k! You keep the pot a little bit smaller and keep yourself more options for pre/postflop decisions!

As played I think I'll also flat the small 4bet ip as you get really good odds and probably keep a few worse combinations in as well!

On the Turn honestly i'm not sure whats best play ... probably i'll fold myself or fold the river! But I'm no sure.. you just split imo against ak on the turn!
On the other hand villains line doesn't look that strong on the turn as well!

I leave the hand open for further discussions!

I agree with you about the 3bet sizing, should have been a bit smaller to make pot control.

Maybe the only thing I could have changed, was that I could have bet on the flop, but I thought that if he floats me, then I would lose a lot of chips cause I couldn't bet on turn or river.

The way that villian plays, imo only makes sense 3 combinations of cards: A set on the flop, KJ, or AK. I think that against this range, it's not worth it the call on the river, cause I only got a bluffcatcher, and will lose much more than I will win. But on the turn, I think I gotta call, cause it's 1200 chips for a 10K pot, getting odds of 1/10. Although maybe my only winning river is the jack, I thought that given the size of the pot, and my big stack, it was worth to call.

Another posibility that now I thought, was about raising his bet on the turn to 4K, but not sure if this would have been a good movement, cause if he goes all in, I'm commited to call his 5K due my SPR.

Really tricky hand in my opinion!
